• Shea Butter – Shea Butter is a plant fat of the nuts of the African Karite tree (ambuk butter). Contains allantoin, vitamin A & vitamin E, and many cinnamic & unsaponifiable lipids (e.g. stearic & oleic acids) for a potent moisturizing effect. It is a potent moisturizer and emollient providing effective skin protection against environmental stress factors. Has been shown to have anti-irritant and soothing proper-ties and improves the appearance of aging skin, and protect the skin, repairs damage caused by climatic aggressions, pollution and UV radiations.
• Mango Butter – Mango Butter has been traditionally used in the rainforests and tropics for its skin softening, soothing, moisturizing and protective properties. It is a semi-solid at room temperature that melts upon contact with skin to provide a luxurious skin feel and excellent spreadability.
• Cacao Butter – The butter is from the seeds of the cacao tree, Theobroma cacao. It is solid at room temperature, but melts on contact at skin temperature. Cocoa Butter Natural prevents drying of skin and development of wrinkles.
• Squalane – 100% plant-based emollient derived from plant sugars (sugar cane). Squalane occurs naturally in the lipidic layers of the skin and prevents moisture loss while restoring the skin’s suppleness and flexibility. Squalane is highly resistant to oxidation and has a high affinity to skin cells due to its skin-identical structure.
• Tocopheryl Acetate – Vitamin E Acetate, provides all of the benefits of Vitamin E with the added benefit of sustainability. Vitamin E has proven antioxidant effects, enhances moisturization and strengthens the skin barrier. It also helps to counteract the appearance of inflammation linked to oxidative processes through downregulation of its mediators.
• Sodium Hyaluronate – A salt of Hyaluronic Acid. Hyaluronic Acid is normally found in skin, connective and nerve tissue and compared to other natural and synthetic polymers, has the greatest capacity to hold water. It enhances the appearance of dry or damaged skin by reducing flaking and restoring suppleness.
• Algae Extract – The polysaccharide extracted from brown algae. It contains L-fucose, glucuronic acid, and has excellent moisturizing and emolliating character. It has the ability to accelerate the cell division and to activate the cells as well.
